About Me

Hi and a warm welcome to my blog. My little place in the cyber crafting world. I'm Elaine and I'm 42 years old and married to the most amazing man I could wish for. My passion is all forms of crafting and I'm extremely lucky to be on the design teams for Leonie Pujol and Toni of Darroch at stamps by me limited . I also do a bit of demo work for stix2 anything and I love it. I've recently retrained after being made redundant to become a Teaching Assistant which is a very rewarding job. Well I hope you like what you see on my blog. I'm always grateful for people taking a peek and leaving messages x

Diapers !

Good evening a quickie post from me today. I have spent most of today preparing my friends baby shower things. The shower is on the 8th march and I have lots of different things planned. The photo shows the diaper favours (need to fill them with sweet treats) and also a thank-you bookmark for everyone to take as a keepsake. I saw a photo of a diaper on Pinterest and this is what I came up with. Thanks for looking x

Me to you

Hi there,
Todays card is made using a me to you bear topper which I purchased for 50p...
I have used dcwv nana's kitchen paper pad which is gorgeous. I have had it for ages but I think my obsession with paper is getting out of hand and I need to start to use some of it !!! I think all crafters are the same. I have used a couple of different spellbinders dies but im loving the edge ones I got from the lovely Christine Embersons online shop. Hope you like it. Thanks for looking

Canvas art

Today I am sharing a canvas that I made sometime ago. Its the only canvas that I have done to date but I really like it. Infact it hangs in my craft room. I have shared the photo previously on facebook but not on my blog. Its made using graphic 45 papers steampunk debutante. I have stamped, inked and distressed the canvas before the layering up the papers. All the flowers were done by cutting them out of the papers. Finished with some Tim Holtz cogs. Hope you like it x

Egyptian present

Recently I have been going through all my old stash and trying to use things up before cupid brings me some new things ! I found an old egyptian kit and decided to make a thank-you gift for a friend. I covered a paper bag and made a selection of cards to go inside including a bookmark. The photo shows a few of the cards and the bag. Hope you like them. Thanks as always for stopping by x

More for the men

Yes a couple for cards that have been made using kanban toppers. I have quite a few mens birthdays coming up so I thought it would be better to crack on. Hope you like them.

Project baby shower.

My best friends daughter is having a baby in April and I've been given the job as chief organiser for the shower. What an honour and how exciting. So 16 invitations made using little pink and blue baby bottles. Made a tag and embossed little buttons onto it. Attached a little plastic dummy onto it with ribbon. A rolled up invite and rsvp were placed inside along with little pink and blue punched baby feet as confetti. Think I did a good job. Hope you like it x
