Hi and a warm welcome to my blog. My little place in the cyber crafting world.
I'm Elaine and I'm 42 years old and married to the most amazing man I could wish for. My passion is all forms of crafting and I'm extremely lucky to be on the design teams for Leonie Pujol and Toni of Darroch at stamps by me limited . I also do a bit of demo work for stix2 anything and I love it.
I've recently retrained after being made redundant to become a Teaching Assistant which is a very rewarding job. Well I hope you like what you see on my blog. I'm always grateful for people taking a peek and leaving messages x
Good afternoon from a sunny West midlands . I have been very busy working on a few crafty things the last couple of days, one of them is this Wedding card I was asked to make for a Wedding in August. The theme was pink. I have coloured the beautiful saturated canary stamp ( which I won from the lovely Teresa from my crafty heart ) with distress inks and tiny dots of glitter. Loved working with this stamp its so pretty. Hope you all like it. Take care
I will be entering this into the saturated canary challenge.
Hope everyone is well and enjoying the sun. I have been making lots of cards with the blockbuster from hunkydory. I have made 32 out of one kit ( stylish season ). And there are 3 more kits to go. Such a great value kit especially as Im making them for charity. I think I have made around 50 christmas cards so far !
Its my first proper shaker card, hope you like it.
Hello and good evening ! Today im showing a Stamped card using one of my older wooden stamps by Lindsay mason . I stamped it 3 times coloured them using distress inks. Used a lovely purple and silver mirri from kanban. Finished with a lovely purple bow. Hope you like it. Once again thanks for stopping by and taking time to leave a comment, have a great Friday everyone x

Good evening friends, blimey its hot again. Wish I was blessed with air con in the craft room !!!
Well this afternoon I have been mooching through my old christmas stash and found silent night by papermania. I have made 5 quick cards with it and love the simplicity of them. I have been desperately motoring on getting ready for the charity event, this is to help Christine Emberson raise money for Ronald McDonald house. Well hope you like it. Have a great evening and thanks so much for looking, take care xx
Morning, and what a lovely Sunday morning it is, much cooler with a bit of a breeze - thank goodness.
Anyway its Sunday and that always means time for a new challenge over Eclectic Ellapu, and this week its the turn of the purple team and they have come up with some gorgeous inspiration. The theme for this is purple, butterflies and bling awesome. Head over to the blog and join in. Heres my Dt piece that I came up with. Hope you like it and thanks for looking. It is always appreciated xxx
Blimey peeps how freakishly hot is it. I know we shouldn't moan but I cant help just wishing for a breeze at night ! I have to get up at 3.20 am almost everyday and the lack of sleep is taking its toll !!! Well onto my card. Yes another wedding card , I was asked again at short notice to come up with a vintage cream wedding card. And to be honest I love how it turned out ( i hardly ever say that about my own work ). I have used hobby house lace and pearls and others bits and bobs. Hope you like it, have a great weekend xx
Hello crafty friends, today Im showing a card that I had to make rather quickly, I was asked to do a nice wedding card asap ! This is what I came up with & put together with a box and a bit of tissue paper to protect it. The topper and gems are from Hobby house and I love them !
Hope you like it, thanks for taking time to look at my little blog xx
Just a quick post from me tonight I am very busy making cards and other bits and pieces for a charity day at the end of August - this is to support the lovely Christine Emberson in her quest to raise money for Ronald McDonald house in camberwell. Those who follow her will know that her son has had a brain tumour removed and the charity helped them through a difficult time. Also people close to me know that I lost my little brother to a inoperable brain tumour many years ago, and it feels good to give something back to help others. 100% of all money raised will be sent to Christine to add to her total. She has some amazing raffle prizes from Spellbinders and lots of others ! Please pop over to her blog and take a peek at :

Wow how hot has it been .....cant seem to get much done in the heat, oh well its better than the rain ! I have managed to grab some me time this evening and started digging out my old christmas stamps. Here are a couple of cards I made using a lovely old wooden stamp from docrafts. I love it. Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by my little blog xxx
Last night I managed to finish a box that I have been decorating. Its a kind of money box. I covered it using graphic 45 french country and ranger matte medium to stick it down. Dies are tim holtz bigz keys & lock. I then glued a few old coins to the top ! Bit of a weird make but Ive had the box for about 6 months and high time I did something with it ! Hope you are all enjoying the weather, have fun.
Wow what fantastic weather we are having ! Although I have to admit its a bit too hot for me and my hayfever !!
But streaming eyes do not stand in the way of craft, yesterday saw the start of a new challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu - the theme was ' its a mans world '
So here is my DT card for the purple team. I have used a cream linen card, Graphic 45 paper - curtain call, matted on corrugated card and tim holtz film strip. Think it turned out ok, did not want over fussy for a man. Thanks for stopping by for a peek. Enjoy the sun x
Really love the new papers I got they are french country by graphic 45, its my 2nd make of the week using it. Tonight I have sat and done a fair bit of fussy cutting and put it all together - very therapeutic indeed. The base is made out of chipboard and I've covered it in paper and inked the edges, assembled all my pieces together and hey presto its finished. Hope you like it.
Hello there in blog land, todays card is a Tim Holtz vintage inspired card, Myself and my friend have been lucky enough to buy Tim Holtz workshop tickets in August. Wow wow wow the man is a legend. Better start saving just incase there will be a shop set up there. Anyway the card has been made using all things Tim Holtz hope you like it. Have a lovely evening and thanks for stopping by.
I couldn't resist any longer I had to buy some graphic 45 french country ! They are so lovely ! So made a quick card with a little fussy cutting. Hope you like it, thanks so much for popping by, take care & happy crafting
