Texture Paste

What a lovely sunny morning it is here , what a shame Im working 1-10pm today. Never mind at least I get to have a little craft before work. So last night I sat playing with texture paste. I got a tub from the Tuesday craft club I go to, the fab Crafty bunch ( a lovely treasure trove of all things crafty ). So I made 2 large tags one in bright colours, the other in browns. I used Tim holtz stencils, inks and embellishments. Really easy to do. I went for a walk with hubby while the paste was drying and decorated when I got back. I cant believe I have never ever tried it before !!!

Hope you like them , I certainly had lots of fun. Time to dig out the rest of my stencils...
Have a lovely day whatever you are doing. Thanks so much for stopping by my little blog. I read all the comments & I am very grateful to everyone that takes the time to visit.
Hugs Elaine x

So it's Tuesday and it means the new challenge starts over at fantastic Tuesday. The theme is anything goes and we are sponsored by lacy sunshine. Hop over and join in, and see what my fellow team mates have made.

My DT card

I used some fab new my minds eye paper I got from the USA and I coloured my image with my distress markers, not a bad effort considering I haven't coloured properly for a long time. If you pop over to the lovely Lisa's blog at Wishcraft she does some fab colouring with distress markers.
Well thanks for stopping by it's always appreciated.

New dates for Eclectic Ellapu

Evening, yes it's a change to the challenge dates ove at Eclectic Ellapu. They will be starting on the 1st of every month. This is great I think I can manage to remember !! So the theme was nautical/seaside or anything goes. I chose nautical/seaside. I decided to alter a wooden heart using a bit of the by the sea by Graphic 45 and various other bits.

I'm not entirely happy with it, I just could not seem to get it right, but at least I had a go lol.
Do hop over and leave my team mates some love & join in.

Also thought I would show a few snaps of our 2nd week on disney. We stayed at Yacht & beach club. I loved it, you could watch disney movie on the beach at night - awesome.

Just had to find a craft store , to get myself and my best buddy Maria some stash.....
So for our 3rd week we hired a car ( I say we there was no way I was driving on the opposite side of the road ). We headed on the 4 hour drive to Ft lauderdale and we checked into an amazing hotel for 2 nights - the pelican grand and when it said directly on the beach they meant it !!

The view from our balcony,

We then went to Miami for 2 nights which I have to say we were not impressed with , but you can't win them all, so then we went back to orlando for the last 2 nights and stayed on lake buena vista and visited Kennedy space centre and wow it was the best experience , so worthwhile

We saw the space shuttle Atlantis it sent shivers down my spine to see the real thing. I love going to places and learning lots of new things. It's the nerd in me. So after not being abroad for 12 years I think it was the trip of a lifetime and can't believe that many years had passed by without me forcing myself on a plane !!!! A time we will never forget and I'm truly blessed to have married the man of my dreams & honeymooned in a fantastic place.
So that's the end of my tale & almost 3 years in the planning.......
So what's next....... The dream is to own a craft shop but guess I'll have to go back to my day job as Deputy Manager at Tesco for a few more years yet !
Thanks for bearing with me, and supporting my blog, don't forget I'm still 8 followers away from my blog candy and it's a good one I will keep adding to it until then.
Take care Elaine xx
