My passion is all forms of crafting and I'm extremely lucky to be on the design teams for Leonie Pujol, Toni Darroch at stamps by me limited and Eclectic Ellapu challenge blog. I also do a bit of demo work for stix2 anything and I love it. I've recently retrained after being made redundant to become a Teaching Assistant which is a very rewarding job. Christine's charity kit

Afternoon and big warm welcome to my blog on this windy Wednesday. Today I'm sharing a picture of January's charity kit from the super talented Christine Emberson. This month it was a kit to make a post it note holder, loved it but I could not cut up the full flowery white die cut that came with it . so I used pink paper and then made a card using the White flower die cut sheet. What do you think ?

I then used odd bits and bobs I've had ages to finish the card. I love these kits each month and Christine puts a lot of effort into them for charity. Please to hop over to hope & chances creativity to purchase the kits, as always it's for charity that is dear to Christine's heart and my own having lost my younger brother to a brain tumour when he was 12. So anything we can do to help and craft at the same time is wonderful.
Have a lovely afternoon and thanks for stopping by.
Take care friends xx

1st craft Buddy challenge 2015

Good evening and a big warm welcome to my blog. So today's post is all about reviving the challenge posts that myself and Maria did ages ago. We decided to start them up again as a challenge. So the 1st theme is.......
Wait for it .......
Peel offs. Yes you either love them or hate them, but pretty much everyone I know purchased them in the thousands when they started crafting. I was no different I must have way over 200 sheets and that's after I've given away loads and loads ! So I had a rummage and found some male ones that I got about 3/4 years ago from Little Claire.

And I must say I really enjoyed making this. I put the peel off image onto watercolour card and used my Tim holtz distress markers to colour it in. Even the little squares in the corner are peel offs !! I added doodlebug paper and twine. Let me know what you think and please do hop over to Maria's blog to see what she has made.
Anyway today I made another as I enjoyed that one so much lol

Hope you have had a wonderful weekend. Thanks for stopping by, I really do appreciate it.
Take care & big hugs

Another day another page !

Good morning fellow crafters, thought I would share another quick page I made for the scrapbook. It was a quick one as I didn't want to spoil the gorgeous paper from Kaisercraft.

I used fabulous red spotty vellum to Matt behind the photo and punched the hearts with it. I then went over the flowers with Clear wink of Stella and looks fab but very hard to see from my photo. The light is so poor at this time of the year. The sentiment is from G45 time to flourish pad.
Well that's all from me as I have today I'm working 12-9, but then I have got 2 days off to craft and catch up. Hope you all have a wonderful happy weekend. Take care. Thanks for taking the time to drop by. I will stop by everyone's in the morning when I have my lazy Sunday morning.
Big hugs xxx

Kaisercraft day.

Good afternoon and it's such a lovely sunny day today. A big difference to what we have had lately. Hope everyone had a great weekend and got some time to craft. I managed a few hours yesterday. Had such a busy weekend starting with the party. Here's a snap of me with hubby (we are front row) and fellow craft buddy Maria and our friend Adam.

Then we watched American sniper on Sunday, a great film and very thought provoking. I won't say anymore except I left with a tear in my eye.
So back to the craft. I have made 5 quick cards with Kaisercrafts Rustic Harmony which I got from Sue who owns crafty bunch in Telford. Same lovely lady who keeps me in Graphic 45 paper. I will share 2 today and keep the rest for in the week. Hope you like.

Well friends take care, thanks for looking and commenting it means a lot to me.
Big Hugs

Clearly besotted

Good evening, hope everyone is warm and tucked up. The weather has been terrible these last few days. The wind has been awful and we had sleet and snow today. Enough waffle from me today's card is one I made for my crafting besties little boy who turned 7 on Thursday. I used my new clearly besotted dies and stamps. I even made a matching box with my Martha Stewart scoreboard.

Then cinema Sunday followed by craft and more craft on Monday yay..... Love the Cinema me and hubby and loads of friends have a cinema card it works out so much cheaper. Right off I trot , take care and have a super weekend. Thanks for stopping by xxx

Have I posted this ?

I can't remember if I have posted these pictures. I've had a quick look back and don't think I have.

It's a wooden box that I have painted in pink then added G45 bohemian papers and then little sewing trinkets from my stash and flowers. I made it for my crafting besties Mum. She sews and has made me some gorgeous things including a wonderful Apron and craft tool holder. She is a lovely lady and very thoughtful. I'm told she loved it.
Well thanks for looking, that's it from me tonight. It was my 1st day back at work today and I'm so tired early night I think. Hope everyone is well and enjoying the evening. Take care xx

Scrapbook time....

Good evening, hoping that everyone is well and that you have had a good weekend. Mine has been a bit hit and miss , felt lousy on Saturday but today I felt much better, I had a nice morning crafting with my BF Maria and then I cooked a lovely roast dinner. Then I decided to start our Wedding scrapbook. We were so lucky as the lovely ladies at crafty bunch gave us a Kaisercraft scrapbook as a gift......

So I managed 2 pages , here they are

I wanted the black & white one to be kept quite simple. I shall carry on with it tomorrow. Hope you like them. Take care and thanks for looking.

Recycled boxes.

Good evening fellow bloggers,
I've been a busy little bee in my craft room on a couple of afternoons this week. I managed to transform a cardboard box into this little beauty....

I painted the cardboard box, using yet again Rangers black gesso. I love this stuff. Added more of my favourites -g45 typography papers and a bit of Tim Holtz ideology. Quite happy with this and I just might pop it on my desk at work.
I return back to work on Tuesday so still got a few days to make some more mess. Hope you all have a wonderful , happy and relaxed weekend. Thanks for stopping by.
Take care Elaine xxx
P.s Thanks to Wendy for giving me the boxes xx

Perpetual Calendar

Hello and big warm welcome to everyone this very windy evening. Me and hubby went to see the film - The theory of everything about Stephen Hawking today. Very sad and thought provoking but a great film, I would recommend it.
I had a wonderful afternoon yesterday and got stuck into making a Perpetual calendar using my new Time to flourish by Graphic 45. Hubby got me some MDF  plaques for Xmas which I painted with black Gesso. Then I made a little gift bag with my Lawn fawn die. Cut out all the months from the paper pad and other little bits. Used 2 Tim Holtz clips and Some flowers. Completed project is probably one of my favourites I've done in a longtime. See what you think.....

And for next year I can just unclip the bag and make another and put the calendar tabs back in. I do love graphic 45. I have put myself on a craft purchase ban apart from the new collections and charity kits.
I really really have to use up some papers....
Have a wonderful evening and take care. Thanks so much for dropping by.

Dash of orange

Good morning , and welcome to my first DT piece of 2015. Please do pop over to Fantastic Tuesday and see what my fellow teamies have been creating. So the theme for today was anything goes add a dash of orange.

So I came up with this. I used a Tim Holtz stencil and spiced marmalade distress ink. I applied the ink using my new clarity brushes they are fab. I then stamped using my lovely new clearly besotted stamps. My mission for 2015 is to start to use some of the things I have in my stash that I have never used . I'm sure we all have craft items that have never seen the light of day !! I do hope you like it.
I'm on holiday from work this week so intend to get loads of crafting done. I had an afternoon of making projects yesterday and getting in front with DT work. Also going to sneak in a couple of trips to the cinema with friends.
Well thank you from the bottom of my heart for stopping by, commenting and following. It really does make my day.
Take care

Finding Mr Mojo

Good evening and hope you all had a wonderful new year. As you may have read on my last post I have been struggling to get crafting again as work was hectic and I was so tired. But tonight I have sat for several hours in the hope Mr mojo may return or even just hang out for a bit.........
I made 3 cards, 2 were for some upcoming DT work and the 3rd was just because I wanted to use some of my graphic 45 stash. So here it is.....

I will leave it up to you whether you think Mr mojo made a brief appearance or not.
I used the time to celebrate papers on this one. I love the colour tones and I can't wait to make more on my week off next week - yes only 1 more shift !!!!!
Well I'm going to enter this into the lovely Hazels
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Take care blogging Friends xxx
