About Me

Hi and a warm welcome to my blog. My little place in the cyber crafting world. I'm Elaine and I'm 41 years and married to the most amazing man I could wish for. My passion is all forms of crafting and I'm extremely lucky to be on the design teams for Leonie Pujol, Toni Darroch at stamps by me limited and Eclectic Ellapu challenge blog. I also do a bit of demo work for stix2 anything and I love it. I've recently retrained after being made redundant to become a Teaching Assistant which is a very rewarding job. Well I hope you like what you see on my blog. I'm always grateful for people taking a peek and leaving messages x

Scrapbook layout

Good evening, hope you are all well and managing to create some lovely cards and art. I managed to make a scrapbook layout for Jones crafts using the wonderful Gilded lily collection by Graphic 45, which they very generously sent me. It's such a beautiful versatile collection. I used one of our wedding pictures from last year to create a 12 x 12 page. Hope you like it.

I'm hoping to get creative on Friday for a few hours. I will be hopping around everyone's blogs over the next day or so.
Take care, have fun. Thanks for looking.
Big hugs Elaine xxx

Recipe Card

Seriously the 1st August !! I just can't believe it. Where's the glorious summer weather I've certainly not seen it yet lol. Anyway hope everyone is enjoying the weekend and having crafty fun.
So over at the Eclectic Ellapu we have a new challenge starting and the purple teams theme is.....A recipe and no not the cooking kind lol.
3 dies, 2 stencils and a sentiment. I really struggled with this and didn't think I would get anything together....but somehow I managed this

I used 2 Tim Holtz stencils and distress inks, I used 3 small spellbinders arrow dies and the sentiment is from Clearly besotted. Hope you like it.
Also last weekend me and Hubby took the godchildren to London, they had never been before we stayed 2 nights in a hotel, went to legoland and Windsor castle and we all had a blast !! Here's a few pictures

They were so well behaved and although we have taken them out many times before it's never been overnight but the 3 days were amazing. I loved Windsor castle , a real highlight for me.
Ok friends that's enough waffle, thanks for stopping by I appreciate it.
Big hugs xx
