Hi and a warm welcome to my blog. My little place in the cyber crafting world.
I'm Elaine and I'm 41 years and married to the most amazing man I could wish for. My passion is all forms of crafting and I'm extremely lucky to be on the design teams for Leonie Pujol, Toni Darroch at stamps by me limited and Eclectic Ellapu challenge blog. I also do a bit of demo work for stix2 anything and I love it.
I've recently retrained after being made redundant to become a Teaching Assistant which is a very rewarding job. Well I hope you like what you see on my blog. I'm always grateful for people taking a peek and leaving messages x
Hello and a big warm welcome to my blog. Hope everyone is well, I have not long returned from a 5 day break in Rome. It was our first time ever to Italy and it's been on my list of places to go for years. We were totally blown away. We walked and walked for miles and saw all the sights.... but trust us to go when there is a heatwave ! 40/41 degrees was soooo hot !
It was a truly fabulous trip and I really need to see other parts of Italy !
Anyway here's a quick card I made using some stamps by me products and stix2 card.
Hello and a huge warm welcome to my little slice of the cyber world.
Today I'm sharing my DT make for Eclectic Ellapu.
I made an 8x8 card using a heartfelt creations paper pad that I've had for around 7 months !
Time to cut into I thought.... well the theme is simple - anything goes. Please do hop over and take a lot at what my lovely teamies have created. So with out further ado here it is...
Take care my friends & thanks for stopping by I always read every comment xxx
Good morning, hope you are all having a lovely relaxing weekend.
I'm super excited to let you know that the lovely Toni Darroch from Stamps by me Limited is onnCreate & Craft today at 8pm and tomorrow at midday. The shows are all about the Eureka 101 which I love. It's for stamping, water colouring, scoring etc etc. I thought I would share a simple card that I made just adding some scoring lines using the score tool and board that comes with the Eureka. I then used a variety of stix2 products for a simple card. Hope you like it.
Don't forget to tune in as Toni designs everything 100% with the crafter in mind.....
Well don't forget to tune in. Have a wonderful weekend. Thanks for dropping by.
Hello and a huge warm welcome to my blog. I'm so happy that downloading various google things actually worked ! I would like to say a big thank you for visiting and leaving me messages. I currently have 90 followers and I will be giving away some blog candy when I reach 100 so please spread the word.
Right last Thursday saw the release of some lovely new dies and stamps from the lovely Toni at Stamps by me Limited. The tag dies are just wonderful and cut like a dream. Here are some of the samples I made for the show....
Really enjoyed working with these dies, hope you managed to watch the shows on Create and craft.
Well I've been busy crafting all day so far and so glad it's the school holidays lots and lots of time to craft.
Right must get back to my desk. Have a fabulous weekend everyone.
Hello and a warm welcome to my blog.... fingers crossed this post appears with the photos. I've had to download google plus only to then find out I also needed google photos. Honestly why have Apple removed blogger from the App Store! So frustrating.
Anyway I've been busy still crafting and Sharing photos on Instagram & FB but thankfully I can now share with my blog followers. That is of course if I have any left lol.
Well on Thursday Leonie did some shows on Hochanda using her fabulous Christmas range. I made a few samples for the show.
I really loved working with these again and I'm sure anybody that has purchased them will also love them. I will now finally this weekend get round to catching up on everyone's blog and comment now that I'm back up and running ( hopefully ) .
Hi and a big warm welcome. I'm so sorry I'm still having big issues with blogger, I've had a new phone and now blogger has been removed from the App Store ! It's still on my iPad but keeps locking me out. I've tried to post with photos but then they come up blank. Please be patient as I'm useless with technology.
I've been super busy with my new jobs and my DT work. I was also lucky enough to help the lovely Susan from crafty bunch on her stand at the Hochanda create it live event on the 17/18th June . I loved the whole buzz of helping set up the stand, do some make and takes and then help take it down.
I've tried to upload a few photos but they aren't working!
Right must go go t some DT work and then going to try and sort the blogger/photo problem out.
Take care and thanks for stopping by.
Hello and a warm welcome on this dreary bank holiday. It's always the way here in the uk for it to be rainy and dull on a bank holiday.... However that does mean lots of craft time yay. Hope you are all having a lovely bank holiday, I have spent the last few days creating samples for the lovely Toni at stamps by me limited. The next show is on create and craft 8th June - here's a few samples of what I have made. There will be 3 new fab sets of stamps...
These backgrounds have been created using stix2 fabric paints.
I will share more samples nearer the time.
I have also been super busy doing Stix2 demos and I have to say despite nerves I've really enjoyed it. I have been to some lovely places, met fantastic people and used some amazing products. It's been brilliant and I feel truly blessed.
Here's some pics of my time demoing over the last couple of weekends.
Thank you all for supporting me, looking at my blog and leaving messages it's always appreciated, and I promise I will catch up on everyone's blog tomorrow. I'm off with hubby to the cinema to see Pirates of the Caribbean tonight looking forward to it!
I have the most amazing news to share which I still can't quite believe! The lovely Ruth from stix2 anything has very kindly given me an opportunity to do some demos for the company. I honestly can't believe my luck as for the last 11 years I've dreamed of being a demonstrator and never thought it would happen. I've only known for just over a week and had my first demo yesterday at Domino crafts in Wolverhampton. So it's been a manic week lol. All my crafty friends know how much I love stix2 tapes, adhesives and tools anyway but now I get to work with a much bigger range and I'm loving the fabric paints & beads sets. Here's a few pics of my samples and the day...
I would like to thank the ladies that came on Saturday and Domino crafts for having me. But most of all a huge thanks to Ruth for having me on the team and to Lisa for passing my details on to Ruth.
Have a great day everyone & thanks for dropping by.
Good evening lovely followers, today I have some of my samples that I made for the lovely Toni who owns Stamps by me limited. I really really do love these stamps, and when I combine them with the fabulous Eureka tool that she designed well it's a match made in stamping heaven..... Right enough chatting from me here's a few of the samples. Hope you like them.
Same stamp done in a different style...
Aren't they gorgeous stamps.....
Hope everyone is having an amazing weekend. Take care and thanks so much for stopping by xxxx
Hello there and a huge warm welcome to my little blog. It's been a bank holiday today here in the UK. A wonderful 3 day weekend. We have got loads done this weekend and been out for lovely walks, meals and all the chores done which left me some time for a couple of hours crafting each afternoon. I will share what I made with you in the week.
Today though it's a new challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu and the theme was anything goes YAY ! So I made a special card for a very special lady. She is the owner of the craft shop I go to. Her name is Sue and there are no words to describe just how much she does for us all at craft club and her local community. Oh and it's the lady who organises the fantastic craft retreats we go to each year.... I started with a plain black box that my friend Maria gave me.
I decided to use one of the newer collections from Graphic 45 called Vintage Hollywood. I made my own card blank to for the box and decorated the top of the box.
Really loved making this. I highlighted the lady and flowers with wink of Stella.
Hope you like it.
Right that's all from me, please do hop over to see what my fellow teamies have made.
Blimey I've not blogged in ages...... Partly due to the fact the last few weeks I've had massive issues with blogger/Google. I couldn't sign in or leave comments! Very frustrating. Fingers crossed you can see my post lol.
Anyway I do hope everyone is ok out there in cyber land.
What have I been up to, well not a lot of craft just DT work I needed to do but I'm hoping that over the next few days I'll get plenty of time to craft.
It was my last English exam yesterday so fingers crossed for that, I have also had the letter to say I passed my Teaching assistants course - yay!
Right onto craft. Yesterday saw the worldwide launch of The Eureka 101 from the lovely Toni Darroch at stamps by me limited. It is an amazing tool that does so much...... Such a space saver, aswell as being a fabulous mobile tool. Everything is there so you just pick up and go !
Here's a pic of mine....
Stamping, water colouring, scoring are just a few things you can do. I've been creating my own card bases with it - love it.....
Anyway here's some of my first samples I made for Toni for yesterday's show. The stamps are amazing and of course I used the Eureka !
Hop over to the stamps by me limited website where you can see lots of samples and videos with the Eureka and lovely stamps.
Yesterday was the 1st March and saw the start of a new challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu. Apologies I'm a day late but had a very very busy day yesterday.
Anyway the theme this month was Spring and here is my interpretation of it....
I was attempting CAS but even though I love CAS I'm so rubbish at it. Anyway I used a clearly besotted stamp and Leonie pujols friend word die. Talking of which Leonie has some amazing new products launching tonight on Hochanda at 8pm. There are some fabulous new products.... Here's a couple of sneaky peeks.
Hope everyone is well and having a good week. I'm off to tidy my desk it's such a mess.
Take care and I'll be catching up on everyone's blogs soon. I'm sorry I've neglected you all.
I'm thrilled to say that on Friday I handed in my portfolio at college. Now it has to be verified and marked. Fingers crossed I will be a fully trained teaching assistant in a few weeks. It's been a real roller coaster ride for me, being made redundant and taking the plunge to become a mature student but I have to say I've really enjoyed it. Just got to pass my English exam early April now lol. So I'm hoping for a lot more craft time now as my mojo had been in hiding with all the work I had to do. I've already spent 2 nights in my craft room since Friday so things are looking up !!
Right now to show you the samples I made for Leonie Pujols one day special on some of her already released lovely ranges last week on Hochana.
Love all the different stamps, dies and stencils Leonie has designed. I'm currently working with the new range and oh my goodness you are going to love it all !
I'm off to Mellington Hall in Powys for a Prosecco afternoon tea with Hubby to celebrate Valentine's, hope you are all doing something nice.
Take care and thanks for stopping to look or leave a comment. Big hugs.
Good evening lovely peeps, wow 1st February.....Goodness me that crept right up on me lol. Sorry for my lack of posts but trust me I've been so busy with college spending hours on homework and my portfolio that I could scream ! Im working harder than when I was a full time manager. However the end is in sight only just over 2 weeks to go and then normal crafty service will resume. I feel that the pressure has really stunted my creativity since before Christmas, however today I started a project I'm excited about. When it will get finished is another story lol.
Anyway I digress the reason for today's post is its time for a new challenge over on the Eclectic Ellapu blog and the theme is anything goes. So I decided that I would make a special card for a lovely friend. A fellow crafter. I used Cafe Parisian as the lucky lady was being whisked to Paris by her hubby ! Lucky lady. So here's the card.....
Love this collection as its so pretty.
Right I'm off to put my feet up.
Thanks again for all your support and sticking with me, I really appreciate it.
Tonight I have 3 cards to share with you. All in different styles but they all have 1 thing in common...... They all use the wonderful new papers and ephemera designed and made by the lovely Linda Simpson. Who has set up Emerald city crafts. They are so nice and come in 2 styles in A4 packs, 6x6 packs and the ephemera. You can get them on her Etsy store.
Here's my makes.
I really enjoyed having a play with them. They are awesome. Hoping to get in the craft room tomorrow seems like I have not had much time lately lol.
Hope you are all well, it's very cold at the moment brrrrrr. The lovely Heather Won my crafty giveaway, well done.
Happy new year to all the lovely people in blog land may it be a wonderful one for all of you. We had a quiet night in which is just how I like it. Nice to relax.
Hopefully 2017 will be a good crafting year and I'm starting the year with a giveaway. More on this at the end of the post.
Right I managed to spend a few hours crafting on Friday so was really chuffed trying to get back my missing mojo. Still not found it but I'm trying !
I saw this idea on Pinterest...
I thought it was a lovely idea. However I decided to take it one step further and do an album with a page each month of all the good things that have happened. I'm going to use a little wooden box to still keep track but will empty it each month and turn it into a page with photos & notes etc. Now the box has been painted but need to decorate it.
I had the perfect g45 album begging to be used from the lovely Darren at Jones crafts. So I decorated it with g45 Cafe Parisian papers.
The album is perfect as it already comes with lots of different style pages ready to decorate. I'm going to decorate the box tomorrow.
Hope you like it. I must say I was pleased with how it turned out.
Thank you so much for your continued support over the last 12 months. I would like to say thanks to Jones crafts, Leonie Pujol for having me on the teams. I'm also looking forward to working with Toni & the lovely ladies at stamps by me limited starting this month.
I count my blessings each day.
So my giveaway today will include something to alter from candy box crafts, an MDF heart, notebook to alter and more.
All you need to do is leave a comment about what your favourite thing was about Christnas & new year.
Enjoy the rest of your day. Lots of hugs Elaine xx
